Gainesville High School.

Norwalk, CT (December 15, 2010) – Gainesville High School in Gainesville, Texas launched their football season this year with several firsts, including a new coach, a new stadium and a new Trans-Lux high resolution outdoor LED display board. The new Trans-Lux display is installed at the south end of the school’s Leopard Stadium and is the crowning touch to a new beginning for the school’s athletic program.

“Our industry leading LED display technology is proving extremely popular with high school sports facilities across the country,” said J.M. The Trans-Lux LED display is designed with an easy to read game information display, which measures 112 x 224 pixels and features electronic team names, sponsor signage and a field identification sign. The 20mm digital video message board allows for viewing from the entire length of the football field, with a viewing angle of 140°. The TL Vision 20mm is UL/CE listed and complements Trans-Lux’s Data Walls and LED display systems.

Installation of the LED display board was completed by Olen Williams Inc., an authorized Trans-Lux reseller. In addition to the Trans-Lux LED display, the new stadium features synthetic turf, an eight-lane track, an air-conditioned press box and has a seating capacity of 4,160.
